Practical Prompting
Effective prompting is a practical strategy that can make the difference between producing positive outcomes or being counterproductive for others when additional support is needed. Providing too much support can decrease independence and increase prompt dependency in others. Providing too little support can increase frustration, limit process understanding, and decrease task completion.
Learn how to provide effective prompting and increase support as we promote independence in those we support.

My Story
From Roots to Blooms: My Personal Connection to Inclusivity
Sarah Robison, PhD, is in the midst of a small business start-up. After finishing her doctoral degree at the University of Arizona, Sarah had a vision to mesh support for schools, business, and special education research. This coalesced into the formation of Organic Inclusion LLC. Organic Inclusion aims to promote inclusive practices for people with disabilities by providing creative solutions to schools and organizations via online training courses and coaching.
Prior to her small business dreams, Dr. Robison taught elementary and high school students with and without disabilities in public schools in Arizona and was a residential supervisor for adults with disabilities in Illinois. Her research focus has been in the use of effective peer supports in schools, peer/school staff training efficacy, and effective transitioning planning for students with extensive support needs and their families.
